Invitation

On the 15th April 2012 we will be hosting our first ever Veteran's Tournament and Family Fun Day to raise money to help the youth section of our Club achieve Charter Standard status by training its managers and coaches to Level 1 coaching standard.

We invite you and your family to come along to the Rec. to watch the mums, dads, uncles, coaches, and everyone else who is brave enough to pull on their boots after many years on the side-lines.

The old timers running around huffing and puffing are not going to be the only entertainment on the day. We will have plenty for the whole family to do. All we need from our parents and kids is to turn up on the day and have lots of fun.

We will also be hosting a fundraising auction of signed shirts, photographes and books kindly assembled by James Evamy. It's not to be missed! See which football legends and stars have 'signed' for Liphook United.

Time: Sunday 15th April 2012 from 12:30pm

Venue: Liphook Recreation Ground, Liphook, Hampshire

Format

Teams will be 6-a-side with rolling substitutes.

Each game will be 15 minutes, without half time.

The tournament will be a league format.

Top two teams from each league qualify, plus top two third place teams going into quarter finals.

Bottom four teams all play in wooden spoon play-offs until we have a 'winner'.
