Season 2008/09: NEHYL U16 Ash Trophy Runners-up, May 2009.

Liphook United U16 B played California Hawks in the North East Hampshire Youth League Cup Ash Trophy final on 24 May 2009 at Connaught Park.

Having won their previous 5 matches, hopes were high for Liphook. However, without a game for 5 weeks, Liphook were out-played by the Hawks. Final score: California Hawks 4, Liphook United B 0.

Matt, Aidan, Harry, George, Tom D, Pieter, Connor, Robin, Tom A, Jack, JJ, Josh, Bickers and Ben were presented with their runners-up trophies by Phil Rush, U16 Division Secretary of the North East Hampshire Youth League.
