Having completed their final league match of the 2008/09 season,
the Liphook Knights celebrate becoming Under 9 Division 2 League Champions.
Formed in 2007, this is the third season we've played together. Our hard work and continued improvement last season took us to new highs as we won the Under 9s competition at the Beacon Hill Football Tournament and then became NEHYL Under 9 Division 2 Champions. Unfortunately, we weren't able to make it a hat-trick at the Liphook United Football Tournament but we were pleased to be promoted to NEHYL Division 1 for this season.
We'd like to thank our parents and supporters, and also Tony Knights and Knights & Sons Security Ltd for their support and generous sponsorship which has undoubtedly contributed to the success of the Liphook Knights.

Season 2008/09: Liphook Knights at the NEHYL Awards Presentation Evening, June 2009. |
||||
In June 2009 we attended the NEHYL Awards Presentation Evening at Prince's Hall, Aldershot. The table covered with glittering trophies was awsome. As Under 9 Division 2 League Champions, we were presented with a shield and individual trophies by Sue Barnes, our NEHYL division secretary.
