Liphook United FC is pleased to invite teams to participate in The Liphook United Annual Summer Tournament 2012.

Dates: Saturday 26 May and Sunday 27 May 2012

Venue: Bohunt School, Longmoor Road, Liphook, Hampshire

Format

The tournament format will be a first round league and then knock-out competition. The intention is that all teams will play at least four matches.

The provisional details are:

The Under 7 and Under 8 Teams will play a 7-a-side festival.
The maximum squad size will be ten which gives up to three substitutes to be used on a roll on, roll off basis.
All players will receive a commemorative medal.

The Under 9, Under 10, Under 11, Under 12 and Under 13 Teams will each play a 6-a-side tournament.
The maximum squad size will be nine which gives up to three substitutes to be used on a roll on, roll off basis.
Winners and runners-up team members will all receive trophies.

The Under 14 and Under 15 Teams will each play a 5-a-side tournament.
The maximum squad size will be eight which gives up to three substitutes to be used on a roll on, roll off basis.
Winners and runners-up team members will all receive trophies.

Please note that the age groups are for the 2011/12 season and all teams are required to be from clubs affiliated to their respective county FA and to provide their affiliation number. All players must be registered with a youth football league.

Arrangements

• Information, advice and a results service will be provided throughout the day.
• The tournament will be registered with the Hampshire FA and refereed by qualified officials.
• A parking fee of £2 will be charged and this includes a comprehensive tournament programme.
• First Aid: The St John Ambulance / Red Cross will be in attendance during all the matches.
• Toilets and baby changing facilities will be provided.
• Freshly prepared hot and cold food will be available throughout the day.
• Hot and cold drinks will be available, at reasonable prices, throughout the day.
• Trophies will be presented to the winners and runners-up (including managers) shortly after each age group final.
• Dogs: Please note that dogs (except guide dogs) are not allowed on the school playing fields for health and safety reasons.
• A professional photographer from Great Event Photography will be in attendance and you will be able to purchase high quality photographs to take home from their display and sales marquee.

The cost of entry per team is £30.

A pack containing the team tournament information will be dispatched as early as possible after the deadline for entries (14 May 2012).
